I wanted to personally thank all our residents, family members, visitors and employees for following strict influenza precautions and isolation restrictions. I’m very proud to report we had no new cases of flu for either residents or staff after we implemented these standards in the facility.

We are rolling out a new restorative nursing program being led by Paula Voyles who has been promoted to a Restorative Aide in the facility. Paula received additional training and competencies from licensed therapist in the facility and will perform and oversee the program. The Restorative Nursing Program goals are to development and implement programs to assist our resident in maintaining functional ability and slow declines unless unavoidable with the disease progression. We are also a Valentine’s Day Ball for our residents and would like anyone who evening gowns in the closet to consider donating or loaning them to the Activity Department for this special occasion.
