Resident Spotlight

Mary Elizabeth (Tiz) was born on 1-21-1919 to Lela and Everett, in Brandenburg Kentucky. Her Daddy was a farmer and her mother stayed home with the children. Tiz had 10 brothers and sisters (Helen, Lillian, Thelma, Alma -passed away as an infant, Jay Bird, Johnny, Thomas and Sug). In 1937 Tiz married Frank and together they had 2 children, Brenda and Sue. Frank was a mechanic and worked on the Brandenburg Ferry for many years. Tiz has been a resident at Brandenburg Nursing and Rehab for 3 years. She enjoys bingo, word searches, visits with her daughters, and listening to music. Tiz says the secret to a long life is always being a good person.
