Donald was born on 5-24 to Charlotte and John, in Bloomington Illinois. His mother was a Factory worker and his Father was a Farming Machinist. Donald had one older brother named DuWard N. Donald joined the Air Force in 1954 and was in the service until 1958. While he was in the Air Force, he learned a lot about electronics. After the military Donald went on to help build the electronics for the spacecraft that went to the moon. Donald has two daughters, Katherine and Nancy. He enjoys playing bingo and solitaire, he also enjoyed fishing. Donald says the secret to a good life is to be able to except the bad and take the good as it comes. Sometimes in life you do not have control of what comes and goes.
