Letter from the Administrator

I wanted to thank all the wonderful supportive family members who attended our National Nursing Home Week cookout. You might not always realize how your visits and support affects your loved one but those residents who rarely get visitors are much less engaged and feel true loss of belonging. I wanted to recognize Terri Stowers, daughter of one our residents, you graciously donated 100 cupcakes and 100 brownies for the cookout on Friday, May 18, 2018. We appreciate your support and generosity. I am also excited to announce that our summer resident vegetable garden has been planted in the rear of the property. Our residents are excited about having some fried green tomatoes and yellow squash home grown. I wanted to thank Ray Duncan, President of Resident Council, for being the caretaker for the garden and the flowerbeds out back. I also wanted to thank Mr. Baker for providing assistance with the flower garden and watering the flowers.

Please join Brandenburg Nursing and Rehab by participating in a 5K Run, Walk or Role on 6-9-18 at Buttermilk Falls Park at 9:00 a.m. with registration either in advance on line or on day of 5K. Please visit our website at www.brandenburgnursingandrehab.com for more information. All proceeds will be donated to the Meade County High School Cross Country Team.

Sincerely,

Angie Decker
